Diana’s designs are characterized by happy color palettes, bold shapes and a hand-crafted sensibility. She draws inspiration from nature as well as graphic design and textile traditions to create work that’s fresh, lively and modern.
Diana lives in Chicago with her husband and their rambunctious 4-year-old son. She has degrees in English from the University of Chicago and in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. In addition to designing patterns and illustrations, she designs and makes custom hand-embroidered and appliquéd chuppahs (wedding canopies), work you can see at her web site Rafters of Cedars.
